Baca Float Coalition

United in Community Action

Official Website of the Baca Float Coalition, Inc.

The Baca Float Coalition, Inc. is a community action group organized in 2008 to serve as a united voice for the residents of Northeast Rio Rico. The Coalition takes its name from the historic Spanish land grant known as the "Baca Float" that comprised most of the area between Tubac and Nogales in Southern Arizona.

Our Mission:

To advance the interests, ensure the welfare and safety, and protect the property values of the residences and landowners of the historical Baca Float.

To do this in a way that builds upon the efforts of previous concerned individuals, citizen groups, and complements and/or enhances the efforts of local, regional, and national agencies.

We will accomplish our goals through educational and informational activities that increase public awareness, collaborative efforts, and other action as appropriate.
